Overview
GridFlow AI ("the App") is developed by Turcios Apps ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using GridFlow AI, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
GridFlow AI includes account login functionality and uses your device's camera and file storage to support takeoff features. We collect:
- Account information — such as your name, email address, and password (stored securely and encrypted; we do not store passwords in plain text).
- Photos and camera data — with your permission, the App accesses your device's camera so you can take photos for takeoffs and project documentation. Photos you capture or select are uploaded to the App as part of your project data.
- Files you upload — with your permission, the App accesses your device's file storage so you can upload plans, documents, and images to perform takeoffs. Only files you actively choose to select and upload are accessed.
- Usage data — information about how you interact with the App, such as features used and session activity, to help us maintain and improve the service.
- Device information — basic technical data such as device type and operating system version, used for troubleshooting and compatibility.
Camera and file access are used only when you actively choose to take a photo or upload a file for a takeoff — the App does not access your camera or files in the background, and does not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account
- To provide, operate, and improve the App's core features, including takeoffs from photos and uploaded files
- To store and display the photos, files, and project data you provide within your account
- To respond to support requests
- To maintain the security and integrity of the service
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Device Permissions
GridFlow AI requests the following device permissions:
- Camera — used to take photos directly within the App for project takeoffs. You are prompted for permission the first time you use this feature, and can revoke it anytime in your device settings.
- Files/Storage — used to let you select and upload existing photos, plans, or documents from your device for takeoffs. The App only accesses files you explicitly choose.
You can deny or revoke these permissions at any time through your device's app settings; doing so may limit the App's takeoff features but will not affect other functionality.
Data Storage & Security
Account data (including login credentials, which are hashed and never stored in plain text) and App data are stored and managed using Lovable Cloud, our backend infrastructure and database provider, which is built on Supabase's open-source technology. Lovable Cloud hosts our database and handles authentication on our behalf. You can review Lovable's privacy practices at lovable.dev/privacy. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Limited data is shared only as necessary to operate the App:
- Lovable Cloud — our backend and database provider, which stores account and application data on our behalf
- Other service providers who help operate the App's infrastructure, under obligations to protect your data
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Turcios Apps, our users, or others
Your Choices
- You can update your account information at any time within the App.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.
Children's Privacy
GridFlow AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
